The mic utilizes componentry that promises an open, detailed, and dimensional sound across its 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range. Expect rich lows, a punchy midrange, and sonorous, sweet highs. With an SPL of 135 dB, the mic can handle anything from the human voice to a drum overhead. The built-in FET amplifier ensures low self-noise of about 4 dBa.

The TF11 shares components in common with other Telefunken Elektroakustik designs, such as its single-membraned, CK12-style, edge-terminated capsule. The built-in amplifier comprises a proprietary take on a FET mic amplifier similar to the M60. This is coupled with a custom, large-format, nickel-iron core transformer fashioned by OEP/Carnhill, a renowned manufacturer. The mic also makes use of premium film capacitors, Nichicon Fine Gold electrolytic capacitors, and a high-performance, ultralow-noise JFET amplifier, all to ensure its quiet, yet characterful sonic pickup.

The microphone comes with a protective mic case, a dust cover, and two different mount options (hard mount and shockmount). Whether you need to capture vocals in the living room, pianos in a live room, or drums on the stage, the TF11 will deliver with aplomb. Bedroom vocals.

Rigorously Tested in the USA
Designed, hand-assembled and tested in the USA, all critical components are subject to the same high standards as the rest of Telefunken's Elektroakustik product line. Each critical component is rigorously tested prior to installation, including capsule frequency response, transistor noise, and distortion. After assembly, all TF11 amplifiers are hand tuned to elicit their optimuim performance.

Easy to Use, Store, and Transport
Finished in a deep indigo blue powder coat with black nickel hardware, the TF11 retains the same form factor as other Alchemy Series microphones, but shortens the length by 1-inch. This low-profile size, combined with the lack of external power supply or the proprietary cable of a tube microphone, make the TF11 easy to set up, break down, and transport.
