The Discrete 8 Oryx features eight discrete Class-A microphone preamps, each crafted with six transistors and inspired by the circuitry of legendary recording consoles. The result is exceptional clarity, depth, and an ultra-low noise floor, along with an upgraded 75 dB of gain to accommodate even the most demanding microphones.

All eight inputs are DC-coupled and support both XLR and line-level TS/TRS connections, while the two front-panel inputs can also be switched to Hi-Z for direct instrument recording.

Talkback
- Use any of the eight mic inputs or the built-in front-panel talkback mic to communicate directly through your monitor and headphone outputs.
Footswitch input
- This input works as a dual footswitch (1/4″ TRS jack) to manage both the talkback and dim controls simultaneously.
