The Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-X2 is a two-channel active mic activator designed to provide clean, transparent gain for low-output dynamic and ribbon microphones. Offering up to +36 dB of ultra-clean gain per channel with variable output control, the CL-X2 helps improve signal-to-noise performance while allowing you to drive your microphone preamp less aggressively. Each channel operates independently and uses phantom power while keeping it safely isolated from the connected microphone, making the CL-X2 an excellent choice for studio recording, broadcast, podcasting, and live sound applications.
