This controller features two large, iconic Empirical Labs knobs for controlling compression and saturation thresholds, allowing you to turn the gain down to elevate the threshold, thus increasing operating distortion, and vice versa. The FATSO Threshold Controller plugs into the FATSO unit via the sidechain insert point and the controller's two 1/4" connections, one for each parameter.
