- The monitor features dual 6.5-inch Slatefiber woofers, which are made from recycled, non-woven carbon fibers and handcrafted in France. This material delivers neutral, distortion-free sound with excellent rigidity and damping.
Aluminum inverted-dome tweeter
- A 1-inch aluminum inverted-dome tweeter produces precise, dynamic, and distortion-free high frequencies. According to Focal, this design provides a wide dispersion for an optimal soundstage regardless of your listening position.
Horizontal positioning
- The monitor's horizontal orientation is complemented by a rear-panel switch that allows you to select which woofer handles the midrange frequencies. It is recommended to place the midrange woofer on the inside for the most accurate imaging.
Acoustic neutrality
- The Alpha Twin Evo is designed to maintain an identical tonal balance at both low and high volumes, allowing for consistent sound while you work.
Laminar bass-reflex port
- The design includes large laminar bass-reflex ports on the front to support low-end performance and acoustic integration.
