Overloud Modulated Springs and Plates brings the unmistakable character of classic electromechanical reverbs to REmatrix, combining vintage spring and plate sounds with carefully applied modulation for rich, warm, and dimensional ambience.
 
Developed by Sabino Cannone and MoReVoX, Modulated Springs and Plates was created by capturing a collection of vintage electromechanical reverb systems, including the legendary EMT 140, EMT 250, and a variety of Accutronics spring reverbs. The resulting impulse responses are enhanced with modulation to add movement, depth, and a distinctly vintage character.
 
From dense, smooth plate reverbs to colorful and characterful spring effects, the library provides a wide range of sounds particularly well suited to vocals, electric guitars, electric pianos, keyboards, and other instruments that benefit from a reverb with personality.
 
230 IRs and 300 Presets
Modulated Springs and Plates includes 230 impulse responses and 300 professionally designed presets, created and refined during real-world mixing sessions.
 
The collection is divided into two primary banks. The first uses individual IRs to reproduce the character and response of the original captured reverb systems. The second takes advantage of REmatrix's multilayer architecture, combining two or more impulse responses from different units to create more complex spaces and entirely new reverb textures.
 
This combination provides both authentic vintage-style spring and plate sounds and more creative layered reverbs that extend well beyond the capabilities of the original hardware.
 
Vintage Reverb Character with Added Movement
Traditional convolution can accurately capture the tonal and spatial characteristics of a reverb, but a static impulse response does not always reproduce the movement and complexity associated with classic electromechanical designs. MoReVoX enhances the captured IRs with modulation, bringing additional richness and animation to the reverb tails.
 
The result is a collection capable of everything from subtle vintage ambience to lush, spacious reverbs that add depth and character without sounding sterile or overly polished.

Modulated Springs and Plates is designed for Overloud REmatrix and includes the REmatrix Player plug-in at no additional charge, allowing the included IRs and presets to be used without purchasing the full version of REmatrix.
