Low-End "Thump" 
In a restaurant, you can run them at low volume and they’ll sound full. Outdoors or in a club, the 12-inch woofer moves enough air to provide a satisfying bass response (down to 45 Hz) so you can often get away without a subwoofer for smaller crowds.
 
The "Throw" Advantage 
The tighter 75° beam of the K12.2 is a secret weapon for DJs. It "throws" the sound further to the back of a dance floor or across a yard, whereas the wider 90° beam of the K10.2 loses energy faster as you move away.
 
DSP Presets 
The LCD screen on the back lets you instantly switch between "Dance" (boosted bass/highs for parties) and "Default" (flatter for background restaurant music) in seconds.
