The QSC TouchMix-8 8-Channel Compact Digital Mixer packs the power of a large-format console into an ultra-compact and portable design. Created through a collaboration between QSC and industry veterans Greg Mackie and Peter Watts, the TouchMix-8 provides a bright touchscreen control surface that displays all the knobs, sliders, and meters you'll need to dial in perfect sound for your band, club, or house of worship. Every input channel has access to a 4-band parametric equalizer, high- and low-cut filters, a noise gate, and a compressor all brought instantly onscreen with the touch of a finger. You can view most functions and effects in Advanced Mode for total parameter control, or in Simple Mode for easier operation with fewer control options.
 
12 inputs, 6 outputs
The TouchMix-8 features eight XLR microphone inputs, four of which can also be used as 1/4" line inputs, and two stereo pair TRS 1/4" line inputs for a grand total of twelve inputs. In addition to the main left and right outputs, you'll find four XLR balanced auxiliary outs that can be used for different monitor mixes or for recording.
 
Intuitive Touchscreen Interface
The TouchMix-8 features an intuitive 7" touchscreen interface that provides visual feedback for every function and control. Easily tap, swipe and drag to access inputs, outputs, effects, routing, and more. For beginners, Simple Mode displays only the most essential controls while Advanced Mode unleashes the full power of the TouchMix-8. Contextual help is also built-in, offering explanations and suggestions to help you optimize your mix.
 
Robust Connectivity and Routing
Don't let its small size fool you—the TouchMix-8 has the I/O and routing to handle a variety of mixing tasks. It offers eight mic/line inputs, four line outputs, a stereo output, and dedicated monitor and aux outputs. Easily route signals to the main mix, aux mixes, or subgroups using the touchscreen. The TouchMix-8 also includes USB audio connectivity to interface with a computer for recording, virtual soundchecks, and playback.
 
Powerful Effects and Processing
The TouchMix-8 comes equipped with high-quality effects and dynamics processing to polish and enhance your mix. It offers four-band EQ, compression, reverb, delay and more on each channel. You also get a graphic EQ, multi-band compressor and reverb on the main output. Tap into the built-in library of channel presets for quick setup, or create and save your own custom presets to reuse in the future.
 
Digital Recording
You can record up to 14 tracks simultaneously from the TouchMix-8 to an external hard drive. (See the Digital Connections Highlights below for requirements.) You can also play your recordings back and mix them to 2-track stereo, and record that on your hard drive as well. The TouchMix-8 gives you a choice of sampling rates for your recordings — 44.1 KHz, recommended for CD-quality recordings, and 48 KHz, for video projects.
 
Free Remote Control App
For added flexibility, the free TouchMix Control app allows you to remotely control the TouchMix-8 from your personal smart device. The app replicates the mixer's touchscreen interface, providing comprehensive control from your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. Use the app as a personal monitor mixer or make adjustments to the main mix from anywhere in the venue. Up to 12 smart devices can be connected to a single TouchMix-8 at once.
