The SurgeX SX-DC-8-24-120 is a universally mountable unit in a magnetic shielding steel enclosure that operates at 120 or 240 volts AC and have a detachable line cord. There are 4 grounded AC receptacles on the input face, with all 4 individually switched. There are also 2 individually switched DC output banks with 2 detachable connectors per bank, an unswitched 5 volts DC output on a detachable connector, as well as two USB A ports for power.
For out of band control and configuration, a USB OTG port is included as well. The SX-DC-8-24-120 is 1.75" D x 8.25" W x 10" L and has a weight of 5.5 pounds. Remote turn-on capabilities are enabled using wired Ethernet. The remote turn-on, turn-off, and reboot operations are activated within the software. Additional operations include sequencing, scheduling, measurement, AutoPing, and adjustable trigger functions. Wired Ethernet HTTP, HTTPS, SNMPv1, SNMPv3, NTP, mDNS, 802.1x, and LDAP protocols are supported. Voltage, current, power, frequency, energy, and temperature, measurements along with other recorded events are stored within the units internal memory. The SX-DC-8-XXXX has a load rating of 15 amps at 120 volts, and 10 amps at 240 volts, as well as a built in self-test circuit for protection. Designed to provide EMI/RFI filtering, the catastrophic over/under-voltage shutdown can withstand a voltage surge pulse of up to 6000 volts.
