Westinghouse 5Y3GT Vacuum Tube
The Westinghouse 5Y3GT is a vintage, US-made octal-based, full-wave rectifier vacuum tube commonly used in tweed-era guitar amplifiers and vintage radios, known for providing a warm tone and characteristic "tube sag". It converts AC to DC with a 5V filament, featuring a black plate, straight-walled glass, and a 1400V peak reverse voltage.  The 5Y3GT is ideal for smaller, vintage amplifiers, such as the Fender Tweed Champ (5F15 F15F1) and Deluxe (5E35 E35E3).
